Mallet Concerto

This concerto grosso is somewhat in the style of those from the Italian baroque period. What is very untypical of the baroque, however, is the instrumentation. There is little original repertoire for percussionists in older musical styles and so as a percussionist, I wanted to write something authentic for us.
